So glad I chose Classic Memories to digitize my family’s camcorder tapes from the early 90’s. I was considering using one of the online mail-in kit services, but I’ve heard nightmare stories about them losing the tapes in the mail. I was so happy to find a local service where I could drop off and pick up my tapes in person. Lisa was wonderful and the tapes came back way faster than I expected. Pricing was way better than the online kits, too. The files were super easy to download and transfer. I was able to surprise my family on Christmas with home videos we haven’t seen in 30+ years! 8mm camcorder film has a limited lifespan and will start to break down after 20-30 years. If you have tapes lying around, don’t wait! Saving those memories is one of the most precious gifts you can give. Thank you Classic Memories!

Amazing service!! I had sent 21 tapes to another well known service and they said they could not digitize most of them because they had been damaged. I was very disappointed and sad because so many of them had my late father and other family members, and one of them was of our wedding! I was not expecting to lose those memories forever. But I contacted Lisa and she said she would try her best. And that she did! Some of them were even in international format. And some were indeed damaged but because they have special software to deal with difficult problems, she was able to get them back!! I'm so grateful! Lisa went out of her way to get it done, said she had to work hard for it but in the end she got our precious memories back. I'm so glad I tried her. We are thrilled and forever grateful!! I dug up a treasure trove of quarter-century-old Hi-8 videotapes during a recent move and was uncomfortable taking them to anyplace that would send them out to be digitized. Lisa personally picked them up from me and hand delivered them after downloading the digital link when the job was done. And it was done quickly and without any glitches! I'd just give prospective customers a heads up to call first as Classic Memories is not located at the address on the Google website. Very professional, personal and friendly service, I highly recommend Classic Memories.

Classic Memories is the best place to go for digitizing photos!
I went to Classic Memories to get about 400 physical photos digitized and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. I did not even think digitized photos could come out so good, as if the original pictures were taken with a digital camera. I first went to Classic Memories because my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly just four months before my wedding. I wanted to make sure we honored my mom that day and I really wanted to get a lot of very nice old pictures of my mom with our family and friends for the wedding. The problem was that we could only have so many pictures framed for the memorial table, so I wanted to use a digital frame as well but we had so many physical pictures that ranged from 20 to 40-years-old. These pictures were also extremely sentimental and we did not want any chance of them getting ruined.
I first spoke with Lisa of Classic Memories about three months before my wedding and she was tremendously kind and helpful. Lisa genuinely took the time to figure out exactly what I was looking for and offered a wide variety of options for digitizing photos. She also provided me with thorough explanations of the various aspects to consider when it comes to completing this type of work. This truly made me feel at ease and that I knew I could trust Classic Memories with a project that was especially important to me. When I saw the final results of the digitized pictures, I could not believe my eyes. I was astounded by the remarkable detail and quality of the photos, and I could not have been happier with how all of the pictures came out. Additionally, they were able to get all the photos digitized in less than two months, just in time for me to use for the wedding. The photos were a great, but emotional, surprise for all of the wedding guests, who were all shocked by the expert quality of the photos.

I cannot say enough about the professional and caring service Lisa performed for me. I had DVD's from my son's basketball that were 20 years old. I contacted Lisa and agreed on a date to meet shortly thereafter. Within a week, my DVD's memories were transformed into thumb drives and a download link to share with our old team. The fee was incredibly reasonable and she even delivered them to my office (for a small charge)! Late last year I handed off to Lisa with great trust over 60 video tapes in many different formats that represented our families history, going back to the early 1950’s. I had been wanting to do this for such a long time, it was such a weight off my shoulders to find Lisa and Classic Memories. As soon as I met Lisa I knew I had found the right company and team to carefully and expertly preserve these important memories. During Christmas 2022, where for the first time I had my entire family together, we sat down to watch (with ease) our movies displayed on the TV for all to enjoy. The laughter and tears were wonderfully joyful and satisfying for me to witness and even better was that I wrapped up a backup flash drive in a tiny box as a gift to my daughter to be sure she would always have a way to remember her past, her family and where she came from. I could not believe that 60 tapes in two big boxes gathering dust was now contained in a tiny drive and safely placed in a small box to be easily enjoyed at any time and on any device. Look no further than Classic Memories for your digitization needs. It was a pleasure working with Lisa from our first phone call to the delivery of the final product. She clearly communicated every aspect of the process. And the results speak for themselves. I've used other digitization services in the past but Classic Memories produced by far the best quality video. It's clear that they put a lot of effort into the process. You're much better off going here than to any big box store.
I had my tape transfer to a digital file. I received the video in less than a week. Lisa is on time when we met. I was late during our second meet up when I had to retrieve the tape but Lisa was very understanding. She’s very nice. If I have another tape to get digitilized, I will use their service again. I highly recommend Classic Memories.
Lisa and her team are responsive, professional, accommodating and fair. Rather than having to mail my precious memories, Lisa met me at a location easy to get to, which cut my drive time too, in order to give her the tapes and she did a great job with the transfer of 50 tapes! Due to the amount, It took about 4-6 weeks, but we were in no hurry so she had plenty of time to do it right. We are now seeing videos we haven't seen in years and some we have never seen! So happy to get to enjoy our family memories. I highly recommend Classic Memories!!

Classic Memories did an excellent job for us. Our digital transfers from PAL system tapes were impeccable, the download super easy and Lisa even picked up the tapes and dropped them off from home because she was in the area. Call them up & arrange a meetup before you go to White Plains .
