What Our Local Customers Say
They did an amazing job restoring a tape I thought was lost. Highly recommend.
So glad I chose Classic Memories to digitize my family’s camcorder tapes from the early 90’s. I was considering using one of the online mail-in kit services, but I’ve heard nightmare stories about them losing the tapes in the mail. I was so happy to find a local service where I could drop off and pick up my tapes in person. Lisa was wonderful and the tapes came back way faster than I expected. Pricing was way better than the online kits, too. The files were super easy to download and transfer. I was able to surprise my family on Christmas with home videos we haven’t seen in 30+ years! 8mm camcorder film has a limited lifespan and will start to break down after 20-30 years. If you have tapes lying around, don’t wait! Saving those memories is one of the most precious gifts you can give. Thank you Classic Memories!
I’m so glad my family and I were fortunate enough to be near Lisa and Classic Memories. I can’t emphasize how amazing the experience was for Lisa to help transfer so much old 8 mm film and old cassette tapes that is invaluable to my family. We have a lot of watching to do over the holidays and that’s all thanks to Lisa. Thank you!
They were so easy to work with, I wish we'd had our VHS converted to video files sooner! Our family history and stories can be shared and enjoyed again.
I have been working with Lisa for the past 5 or 6 years. I was very apprehensive handing my precious memories to anyone, but after I met Lisa I couldn’t be any happier. She gave me such a comfort level knowing how trustworthy and dependable she is. And she is so accommodating with my schedule when I needed her! I rate her five star plus !!!!!
Absolutely exceptional service. Lisa is an outstanding professional. I was beginning to lose hope because an old video of mine was damaged but she was able to fix it and to convert 6 of my vhs tapes before a family event which was so kind of her. I will be going back to her for more tapes in the future and highly recommend her services!
Don’t look elsewhere for this type of service. Professional, fast and quality work.
Amazing service!! I had sent 21 tapes to another well known service and they said they could not digitize most of them because they had been damaged. I was very disappointed and sad because so many of them had my late father and other family members, and one of them was of our wedding! I was not expecting to lose those memories forever. But I contacted Lisa and she said she would try her best. And that she did! Some of them were even in international format. And some were indeed damaged but because they have special software to deal with difficult problems, she was able to get them back!! I'm so grateful! Lisa went out of her way to get it done, said she had to work hard for it but in the end she got our precious memories back. I'm so glad I tried her. We are thrilled and forever grateful!! Super easy to work with and communicative. Thank you, Lisa!
I dug up a treasure trove of quarter-century-old Hi-8 videotapes during a recent move and was uncomfortable taking them to anyplace that would send them out to be digitized. Lisa personally picked them up from me and hand delivered them after downloading the digital link when the job was done. And it was done quickly and without any glitches! I'd just give prospective customers a heads up to call first as Classic Memories is not located at the address on the Google website. Very professional, personal and friendly service, I highly recommend Classic Memories.
Can’t even express what a wonderful job they did, way to make memories memorable.
Classic Memories is the best place to go for digitizing photos!
I went to Classic Memories to get about 400 physical photos digitized and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. I did not even think digitized photos could come out so good, as if the original pictures were taken with a digital camera. I first went to Classic Memories because my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly just four months before my wedding. I wanted to make sure we honored my mom that day and I really wanted to get a lot of very nice old pictures of my mom with our family and friends for the wedding. The problem was that we could only have so many pictures framed for the memorial table, so I wanted to use a digital frame as well but we had so many physical pictures that ranged from 20 to 40-years-old. These pictures were also extremely sentimental and we did not want any chance of them getting ruined.
I first spoke with Lisa of Classic Memories about three months before my wedding and she was tremendously kind and helpful. Lisa genuinely took the time to figure out exactly what I was looking for and offered a wide variety of options for digitizing photos. She also provided me with thorough explanations of the various aspects to consider when it comes to completing this type of work. This truly made me feel at ease and that I knew I could trust Classic Memories with a project that was especially important to me. When I saw the final results of the digitized pictures, I could not believe my eyes. I was astounded by the remarkable detail and quality of the photos, and I could not have been happier with how all of the pictures came out. Additionally, they were able to get all the photos digitized in less than two months, just in time for me to use for the wedding. The photos were a great, but emotional, surprise for all of the wedding guests, who were all shocked by the expert quality of the photos.
Lisa was exceedingly professional and accessible throughout our correspondence and appointments, and she made the process of meeting and maintaining communication incredibly simple and convenient. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa and Classic Memories. Their customer service is impeccable and their work is extraordinary. I will definitely be going back to them in the near future for the digitizing of all our old family videos and pictures. Classic Memories is a trustworthy business and without a doubt the best place to go for digitizing photos. I highly recommend them!

I have used them several times and highly recommend! They turned my wedding videotape and old family slides into shareable digital files. Great product and very professional.
I have been working with Lisa of Classic Memories for more than eight years. She has done every kind of transfer for me i.e., VHS, and audio tapes to DVDs and CDs, DVDs, and CDs to flash drive. In addition, she guided me in creating a beautiful family album. All of my family memories, dating back as far as the 1940s have been preserved by classic memories and passed on to my family. I couldn’t be happier with the work.
In addition, Lisa is a wonderful teacher, patiently teaching me how to view flash drives on my TVs and computer.
Lisa is professional , Personable and extremely helpful. Classic Memories pick up and delivers and does high-quality work in a timely fashion. I recommend them without reservation.

This establishment is truly remarkable! The quality of their work is exceptional, their punctuality is precise, and their customer service is outstanding. They possess the remarkable ability to revive cherished memories, leaving me at a loss for words to adequately describe the overwhelming emotions I experienced when I first beheld my beautiful memories after an extensive period of anticipation.
I entrusted them with the task of transferring video tapes containing precious childhood memories that had endured for over three decades. Unfortunately, we were unable to access the contents of these tapes for all those years due to a malfunctioning device. However, Classic Memories came to our rescue, enabling us to finally relive those treasured moments.
I extend my deepest gratitude for the exceptional work you have done and wish you continued success in all your endeavors!

I cannot say enough about the professional and caring service Lisa performed for me. I had DVD's from my son's basketball that were 20 years old. I contacted Lisa and agreed on a date to meet shortly thereafter. Within a week, my DVD's memories were transformed into thumb drives and a download link to share with our old team. The fee was incredibly reasonable and she even delivered them to my office (for a small charge)! I highly recommend Lisa and Classic Memories to anyone who is in need of keeping treasured memories for the future generations!
Pickup , delivery and every step along the way
This company exceeded what little expectations I had. Flawless digitization of 51 year old 8mm film in only a few weeks. Really pleased and will use again when I find the next stash of film.

Working with Lisa was awesome, I needed tapes ready last minute for Christmas and she was able to deliver on time and at a good price.
Classic Memories exceeded our expectations in transferring our family's cherished home videos from DVD to MP4.
The final MP4 files showcased impeccable video quality and sharing these revitalized moments has been a joy, thanks to the easy compatibility with various devices.

Great Service, home pick up, home delivery, fair pricing, quality video transfer. Great place to get old videos digitized. Had 7 tapes of 3 different formats, transfered. No problems, no issues.
So happy to have found Lisa and Classic Memories! I had several VHS home videos from my childhood that were going on 30 years old, which is roughly their life expectancy. When I heard that, I panicked. I needed digital copies asap!!! The thought of losing such precious memories was too much and luckily someone recommended Lisa to me. She was so helpful and preserved something that means so much to me and my family!! Now I can watch Christmas morning 1991 on my TV with the USB any time! highly recommend!
One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had! Lisa was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. I highly recommend! My memories on a VHS tape from 1999 were copied to digital and the quality was great. I’m so glad I was referred to Classic Memories. Thank you Lisa and Neil.
Lisa and Classic Memories did an amazing job with my numerous video files from the past! Not only was it a simple process to organize, but it was thorough, and extremely quick. I have recommended Classic Memories to numerous people so far and will continue to do so as I believe this is a hidden gem that deserves far more recognition.
I used Classic Memories to create a DVD for my dad’s Celebration of Life. I was hesitant which company to choose because it was such an important project for my family. I’m so glad I chose Classic Memories. I had questions and Lisa called me directly 3 or 4 times to help support me in making the slideshow so special and perfect. She also corresponded with me via email throughout the process and was so supportive and responsive. I don’t usually leave reviews but this was such a great experience and the slideshow came out so beautifully, I felt it was important. If you’re needing a slideshow/DVD, etc. Classic Memories will take good care of you and you will not be disappointed! Thank you!
Late last year I handed off to Lisa with great trust over 60 video tapes in many different formats that represented our families history, going back to the early 1950’s. I had been wanting to do this for such a long time, it was such a weight off my shoulders to find Lisa and Classic Memories. As soon as I met Lisa I knew I had found the right company and team to carefully and expertly preserve these important memories. During Christmas 2022, where for the first time I had my entire family together, we sat down to watch (with ease) our movies displayed on the TV for all to enjoy. The laughter and tears were wonderfully joyful and satisfying for me to witness and even better was that I wrapped up a backup flash drive in a tiny box as a gift to my daughter to be sure she would always have a way to remember her past, her family and where she came from. I could not believe that 60 tapes in two big boxes gathering dust was now contained in a tiny drive and safely placed in a small box to be easily enjoyed at any time and on any device. Thank you to Lisa and the Classic Memories team. I highly recommend them. Barbara Hon
Neil and Lisa did a great job transferring all of my home videos and family google cloud videos to a thumb drive. My family now has the opportunity to watch the whole terabyte worth of memories on any smart device. Kind, quick, professional and a pleasure to work with!
Outstanding service! Lisa made the whole process simple. My family and I have enjoyed watching all our "new" family videos from so many years ago. Thank you for preserving our memories!
Look no further than Classic Memories for your digitization needs. It was a pleasure working with Lisa from our first phone call to the delivery of the final product. She clearly communicated every aspect of the process. And the results speak for themselves. I've used other digitization services in the past but Classic Memories produced by far the best quality video. It's clear that they put a lot of effort into the process. You're much better off going here than to any big box store.
I had my tape transfer to a digital file. I received the video in less than a week. Lisa is on time when we met. I was late during our second meet up when I had to retrieve the tape but Lisa was very understanding. She’s very nice. If I have another tape to get digitilized, I will use their service again. I highly recommend Classic Memories.
Lisa and her team are responsive, professional, accommodating and fair. Rather than having to mail my precious memories, Lisa met me at a location easy to get to, which cut my drive time too, in order to give her the tapes and she did a great job with the transfer of 50 tapes! Due to the amount, It took about 4-6 weeks, but we were in no hurry so she had plenty of time to do it right. We are now seeing videos we haven't seen in years and some we have never seen! So happy to get to enjoy our family memories. I highly recommend Classic Memories!!
This is a much needed service and would definitely recommend. I got all my home videos converted to a USB drive so now my whole family can watch them. I highly recommend Lisa. A true professional in her work thank you so much for your service.
Lisa was terrific to work with. She met me at a convenient time, quickly turned around my 30 year old VHS tapes into a digital file, and when I was too busy to get my tapes back, even dropped them off at my house! I would definitely recommend. Thanks for the good service!
Neil and Lisa are customer focused and their work is of the highest quality. They treat your photos and videos as if they were part of your family.
Classic Memories did an excellent job for us. Our digital transfers from PAL system tapes were impeccable, the download super easy and Lisa even picked up the tapes and dropped them off from home because she was in the area. Call them up & arrange a meetup before you go to White Plains .
Perfect service. Downloading the video from the provided link was seamless and not complicating and Lisa provided the best customer service.
Lisa was very professional and did a wonderful job converting my home videos.
Lisa was great ! so happy i found her, requested for two cassettes to be transferred into usb’s 3 days in advanced and she made it happen. Great mother’s day gift! thank you lisa
Great experience with Lisa at Classic Memories. She transferred 20+ 90s- era home videos to digital - couldn't be happier with the result. Thanks Lisa!
I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend using them! My brother died and I was in town from CA. I was handed a VHS tape and I needed it transferred ASAP. Well, I was not disappointed in my choice. I requested a quick turnaround after explaining my situation and was accommodated thankfully. Definitely 5 stars, more if I could.
I had the best experience with Classic Memories & Lisa! The process was incredibly smooth, and the quality of the home movies and photos she scanned for me were wonderful! I'm so grateful Lisa could come to my house to pick up and drop off everything -- with an 11-month-old at home, this made everything so much easier. I highly recommend!
I’ve used classic memories twice and both times my videos came out amazing. It was so nice to watch home movies that we haven’t seen in 20 plus years. Lisa was so accommodating and we look forward to working with classic memories again.
This was the best experience I had with Lisa , she got my 1st birthday party and other family memories off of the old cassette tapes. I recommend this Place 100% .. Thank you so much Lisa 🙏🏾❤️
Neil and Lisa are the best! They edited and designed my art book (yes, a hard cover book with a dust jacket) with incredible sensitivity, professional skill and sophistication.
I could not have asked for more. Their decisions (selection of the work and how best to present it) were impeccable. And their clarity in explaining the process was terrific.

Professional, convenient and a timely final product as promised! Lisa was a pleasure to deal with...thank you.
I stumbled upon Classic Memories as I searched the web for a reputable company to have convert my mom's numerous camcorder tapes from when my siblings and I were babies. I contacted the company for more details and immediately received a call back. I dealt with Lisa from start to finish and she was truly professional in every manner, friendly, and patient with me. She took the time to explain the process of converting tapes, best options to go with, pricing, and answered any other questions I had. We stayed in touch via email throughout the whole process and she kept me updated on when she expected the finished product to be shipped back to me. From the customer service to the prompt communication, to the company's ability to preserve sacred memories and all the way to the finished product beautifully playing on my TV, Classic Memories never once disappointed me. This was a birthday present for my mom and Lisa helped make the entire process simple and easy. My mom absolutely loves them and I have Lisa (& Classic Memories) to thank for helping me get this done.
